It was originally against the stipulations. The contract originally was at 144 but Floyd changed the agreements in his favor. He made the change in the contract hours before the weigh in.

Anyone woul've guess that Marquez would be under weight. Marquez said it himself he be coming up around 142 after being at 135 for only one fight. So Floyd knew he would be having weight advantage already yet he still didn't make the weight agreed on. We wouldn't want all boxers to start having weight issues especially on purpose.
