Comments Thread For: Kyoguchi: An Honor For My First Fight In Mexico To Come To Homeland Of My Manager

Hiroto Kyoguchi was eager to conquer America for his first fight under manager Eddy Reynoso last year in Dallas. Now, he can't wait to impress his manager a little closer to home. The two-division and reigning WBA 'Super' junior flyweight champion is set for his title consolidation bout with WBA 'World' titlist Esteban Bermudez. The bout takes place Friday on DAZN from Domo Alcalde in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Sadly not many fights are happening in Mexico after Covid, many recognizable boxers used to have consistent fights (3 to 5) to stay active such as Francisco Vargas, Miguel Berchelt, Juan Francisco Estrada, Emmanuel Navarrete, Isaac Cruz, William Zepeda and etc.

This is no longer the case and most of them are now fighting once or twice a year.
