He was 19-0 which is moving right out og the green stage by professional boxing standards. I don't care if you have 1000 amateur wins, the pro's are different and it takes 15-20 pro fights to truly adjust properly. Hearn and Bivol agreed that he wouldn't have gotten the Canelo fight if he hadn't looked bad in 2 of his last 3 fights specifically against Castillo and Richards.

Do you just like show up and post or do you follow the sport at all? This was all over this outlet specifically right after the fight. Hearn is on video talking to Bivol at the post fight presser before it started saying these exact words to Bivol. I have it in one of my posts. I called it pre-fight with my observations in the Joe Smith fight. The punches Smith was catching him with I believed Reynoso thought Clenny could catch him with, specifically that big right hook at the end of the 10th that sent Bivol wobbling and holding the ropes back to his corner.

Canelo is not as good as he thinks he is. The super middleweight division had some of the most unspectacular champions when compared to champions from other divisions - it was bread and butter that Canelo would get undisputed there (he didn't actually beat a champion for the WBC though). He let those three wins gas up his swollen steroid head, thought he would walk through Bivol but got brought back to earth with a ****!

Andrade ain't the best but his stance and movement would give Canelo problems for sure - Canelo definitely knows this! Labelling him a "horrible fighter" is almost as pathetic as taking PEDs in the runup to the GGG rematch...

Andrade can talk all he wants but nothing can change the fact that he hasn't fought anyone noteworthy in his entire boxing career. If he wants to be taken seriously he has actually a great opportunity right there. Go up to 175 and try to beat the man who beat Canelo. They're both dazn fighters so that would be an easy fight to make for Hearn. And bivol is a better skilled fighter than him so better if he just shut up.

I wonder if you even saw the Bivol - Smith fight. That was about as comprehensive of a schooling as you can get. With the exception of a couple brief moments and one good shot at the bell in the 10th, Bivol completely undressed Smith (and almost KO'd him at the end). You may watch boxing, but you clearly don't know what's happening before your eyes if you think Bivol was some green cherry pick gone wrong. Fans who really do follow the sport and know what they're seeing knew that Bivol was going to be a tall order for Canelo and he clearly was. Not because Canelo sucks as you would argue, but because Bivol is a highly skilled, athletic fighter who is a hell of a lot bigger naturally than Canelo. Bivol will most likely unify the LHW division within the next year and you will still call him a nobody.

I've watched Bivol for a long time, he's nothing new to me. 19-0 is leaving the green stages of a professional career. I didn't say he was literally green, I said he was right outide of that ---> professional experience wise. I watched the entire fight and I saw a lot of things Reynoso would see. Smith landed plenty of good shots on Bivol, if you didn't see it, rewatch the fight.

They thought he was a cherry 100%. Joe Smith had Bivol rocked and stumbling back to the corner at the end of the 10th, he's got 19 fights which is still inexperienced at the pro level, and his last 2 fights were meh. Hearn even said it. This was a cherry pick gone wrong.

I picked Bivol to win because I've seem him fight several times, but Bivol was the lesser of evils that were right around the corner for a fight with Clenny on that night.

He did beat the crap out of Joe Smith, I wholeheartedly agree with you. But these are the fights Reynoso are analyzing and Joe did hurt Bivol at the very end of the 10th. Check this timestamp out --->

When you watch it in real time, the ref is in the way so just pay attention to Bivols reaction and how he used the ropes to steady himself, then look at the replay a few seconds later when they show the punch landing clean. This is food for Reynoso. There were times in the fight Joe was landing some good left and right hooks (I just recently watched it for the first time so all this data is fresh for me). Reynoso is looking at that for Saul to capitalize on.

I'm going live right now and saying Bivol has the best chance since beating Cleneloterol since GGG. It's hard for me to unequivocally say Bivol will win because I believe in my heart of hearts Clenelo has the cards rigged in every fight and he knows it. The way he loses all those rounds and never looks desperate is the hallmark of a fighter knowing he's got the cards in his pocket and he can bide his time all he wants. That is a massive edge, so no I can never say a Bivol will win because he's 19-0, just getting out of the green phase, and really needs to get a stoppage to win. A 58% ko ratio is pretty low and I think that's another reason they picked him.

Let me explain --->

Andrade is a master of the craft, you don't think he knows who a basic fighter is or not? I'm saying the same thing. I'm not a professional fighter, had a run in the amateurs but that's where it ended. I am an expert in all things boxing, it's literally in my DNA and a big portion of my life has been academically dedicated to boxing. Amateurs, family, collecting fights, handicapping on a variety of tiers, columnist, trainer. I can recognize a basic 1-2 fighter from other fighters that have more tools in their tool box without having to fight them.

Only a neophyte pleb would say one has to fight another to know his skill. Top Rank hires matchmakers for that. You think Bruce Trampler is fighting anybody? He's the best of the best in the business, he can see A beating B miles away without having to ever fight someone.

Your thought process is basic and I bet a lot of things don't make sense to you and that's ok. Just try and be better before you come trying to kick my door down. Your levels are very low, my levels are very high. Chances are that you'll never enjoy the view from where I sit. Accomplish what I have, do what I've done, and let's have a chat then.

Lets go through the process on Bivol --->

• Great amateur record, no doubt, but that's merely one component
• Doing good in the pro's, being brought along nicely and moving up levels against lower to more advanced opponents
• Put him in against Beterbiev, if he wins, time to move up, imo he'll have cleaned out lhw.
• Clean out Cruiser which shouldn't be hard, historically dead vision.

At this point he's 20-0, let's come back to Bivol after 30 fights and see what he's done.
