How are Mexican American boxers doing compared to the 1980s?

There have been accomplished fighters in the past but most of the fighters were seen in a lower standard compared to Mexican born fighters who have produced a lot of impressive champions at the time. Is this still the case?

I’d say Mexican born fighters will always be collectively better but Chicano boxers are doing great today.
