You know, that's what I am thinking.
I think ever since Canelo left the boat, Oscar been really struggling. But obviously he is not going to show it.

Lemme see.. they've had Oscar, bhop, Barrera, and Mosley= not the same effing thing without Shaffer!
      Very true.
Out of all the bunch at Golden Boy, Richard seemed to definitely be the more intelligent, level-headed man there.
Also, since Canelo left too, huge blow to the company.

        Yeah very good on Oscar.
But I highly doubt Golden Boy is a billion-dollar company man

Boxing is a very fragmented sport and what the Fertitta brothers did and Dana did with the UFC is incredible.

I’m extending an olive branch and I would love to sit down and talk and smooth things out. Let bygones be bygones and then focus on business.

              No

Its worth slightly more than the profit it gets from the fights of the fighters they have under contract and whatever dazn pays them

So yea its not even worth more than 10 million

              What role does it fulfil?
Negotiate fighter purses with dazn- they are not needed. They arent the best in that, accountants, and other experts can do that

The Atlanta Hawks are valued around $2 billion. GBP isn't worth half the value of them.

                  Wow, interesting breakdown.
I definitely agree that media arranging on behalf of Golden Boy is quite lame.
All the other stuff I really don't pay attention to because generally I see Golden Boy as a C class promo company in the sport.

No but it is THE most recognizable boxing brand to go along with Everlast.

It's been ran lamely for most of the past decade BUT if you ask people on the street what Top Rank or any other promotion was. More people would know Golden Boy than those.

                      Good point but quite debatable.

I would reckon Top Rank is very well known when comparing TR with Golden Boy.

Top Rank with the ESPN network deal has been huge for a long time.

I get your point though. But I highly doubt GB is near worth a billion
