How did this feller get the so called WBA S/M title? I just checked the WBA ranking & Benavidez dosen't get a mention, maybe he could fight Berlanga or John Ryder.

Those would be tremendous fights to watch, if I were Berlanga I'd wait until I had a few more wins, and worked on his movement as well as combination punching.

The Benavidez team want the fight to happen by November or December after the Morrell fight.

This would be the wise move for Morrell. He is young so give him an extra year to develop.

I don't think Morrell Jr was doing any talk. The guys that don't get punch on the face were. After the fight was over, he didn't mention any names. But to tell you the truth, shields shouldn't be saying this, keep your mouth shut, he's not showing any confidence, and I think he's right, by talking like that. Let his manager do the talking, and let him fight when ready.

I don't like shields at all. Salas should be training Morell jr. In any case, Morell jr looks like the real deal and is not programmed like other Cubans before him, to just mark points, he's trying to hurt his opponents, Gomez is fighting the same way.

About a month ago Morrell alluded that he might train in the future in Las Vegas. It's Shields now but you never know in the future he said, maybe I go to Las Vegas where he will be presumably trained by Salas.

Schields is great as far as physically preparing his fighters but he has insecurities and then puts them on his fighters. Don't open your mouth like that cause it only exposes Schields insecurity. Great trainer but also very cautious ans very insecure about his fighters abilities. Lara left him, one of the Charlos left him. The Charlo that stayed he doesn't want to test himself. Lara, as soon as he left him he's asking for all the big fights.

Based on what Ronnie said I think Morrell should move on to another trainer. He can't train you properly for a mega fight if he's always tormented by doubts.
