Yeah, he’s got that monster Javier Fortuna and whole host of other low to mid level fighters to mollywhop. It’s Tank that doesn’t need Garcia.

We’ll never know. Garcia won’t fight fighters on even Rollies level.

This might just be me, but I do not see what is so entertaining to watch about Ryan Garcia. He tends to wait to land a big shot like Tank Davis so he tends to lose some rounds except his defense isn't as good. Once he fought someone actually around his size range he was knocked down which he even admitted that he temporarily blacked out in a interview. He doesn't need to be a defensive Savant since he is quite athletic but he should picked some head movement in the Canelo Camp.

Ryan Garcia seems to really want the fight.

Hopefully the network and promoter politics don't get in the way.

Tank is 27 and Garcia is about to turn 24. Floyd was 23 when he fought Corrales who was 24.
Haney is 23 and just fought Kamboso to become the unified champion at 135.

How exactly is Tank-Garcia not ready? When exactly is “due time”?

Would he though? Based off of what? They both fight the same level of competition with similar results. But that wasn't the point of my post anyway. I was just wondering how did the previous poster come to the conclusion that Garcia would make easy work of Tank because Rolly was up on the cards. Even though he wasn't and got knocked out. That's some shaky analytics.

Utterly ridiculous. There's a gulf of skill difference between Luke and someone as crude as Rolly and couldn't be more apparent watching them fight smh. Put the hate for the kid aside and anyone could see it. A decorated Olympic Gold Medalist who gave an all time great in Loma probably his stiffest fight other than Teo vs a guy who is sloppy asf, lost to a journeyman level fighter in Marinez and starting boxing like 2 weeks ago..?? Luke Campbell is as good a win as anyone on Tanks resume. So if you're going to criticize one,you should be doing the same to the other.

“Golden Boy will not be able to [prevent it],” Garcia said. “They can't. I will not allow it. There's no way. "I myself will not allow it".

That it’s way passed time for Garcia to start facing quality opposition. Same story with Ennis, Benn and a whole host of other fighters.
