Going into his fight against Punisher (Cody was underdog) I don’t think Cody had lost a round in four years. Fantastic boxer. Floyd Mayweather flew him to Vegas for sparring back when Cody was 18. For me personally, to be European level you need to compete at European level not beat faded welterweights who haven’t been relevant for years. If Benn fought the British champion in his next fight that would genuinely be his best opponent thus far. It’s an awful lot of smoke and mirrors with Benn’s matchmaking IMO.
