Comments Thread For: Conor Benn Views Eliminator as Only Way to Fight Keith Thurman

Conor Benn is under no illusions that his preferred fight is unlikely to materialize any time soon, barring some kind of institutional pressure from the sport's sanctioning bodies.

Oh **** off. You tucked tail and ran from David A. Eddie will only let you fight welterweights coming out of retirement. Keith is only semi-retired

Keith would hurt and dominate Benn, even this version of One Time. No point mentioning his name if you know the fight isn't happening.

I can see Thurman vs Stanionis happening for the full WBA after Bud-Spence is done and the belts are free. If Benn wants to fight the winner, n sharpen his skills a bit more in the meantime, I'm all for it.

I’d love to see Benn get dominated by Cody Crowley. How come nobody says Cody’s name?

Said it would be a top opponent, now says 7 weeks notice won't be enough to get a top opponent. I wonder how much notice the random, inactive C level guy they pick will actually get.

Benn isn't even the best WW in the UK.

Keith "Once upon a time" Thurman still has more than enough to knock Conor spark out.

Thurman doesn’t need any damn eliminator..

he will get a title shot in due time, may be next if Spence/Crawford can’t be made.

Benn in the meantime will face complete scrubs, he has no world title on his resume, no competitive names.. its comical
