Neither Top Rank nor PBC would be the problem here as much as Mayweather promotions are.

All these promoters prefer in-house fights; top rank seem feckin’ notorious for them. But Mayweather promotions… I don’t know what crazy **** they drinking, but they got a whole other thing going on. No chance this fight happens as it stands.

I'm not sure that Stevenson's exceptional boxing ability would prevail against Davis' almighty power.
Simply because Stevenson could be embarrassing Davis all night with his boxing skills, but if he were to get caught by one of Davis' booms, Davis won't let him off the hook.
Willing to bet with you when (more like IF) this goes down. I bet Davis doesn’t so much as rock him all night.

Time is running out for Tank, he's just about out of punching bags. Now he's gonna have to get in there with some young skilled boxers, not guys he can just power past..I assume they're going to try to wait on Garcia or quickly line up another bum so they can drag his precious 0 out to mid 2023..problem is the young guns are only going to get better with time and Tank is just getting older at this point..I notice he seems to hurt something in almost every fight he's had recently..

Have to agree, MP seems more keen on turning Tank into a PPV star then making the best fights.

First Loma was too old and Tank didn't need him since his career is almost over, now they'll probably say Shakur and Haney are too young and how the fight needs to marinate or sum dumb shlt lol

Who gives a shit about boring fighters? Rigo got demo'd by TR over being boring, is Haney any different? He's just a placeholder stiff until they can get him to lose the belts (if he can keep them) against someone who puts asses in seats.

Anyway, take the other guys belts then worry about in house after the Kambo rematch or whatever.

Wow that's giving Stevenson all the credit, and none to Davis, as sharp a boxer as Stevenson is, I just can't see Davis not being able to land some of his own shot's.

I rate Davis, highly, no doubt.. I just think Stevenson’s style will nullify his, not so much that Davis isn’t class.

Okay now that makes a lot more sense, Davis' raw power, and ring smarts can't ever be counted out.
I wished that Mayweather would have allowed Davis to unify the titles against Lomachenko, when he first won super featherweight title.
What a super fight that would've been for all the fans of boxing to behold, but Mayweather didn't want such a risk with his young fighter.

For sure, it’s just a preliminary prediction, mind, and I’ve watched far more Tank than Stevenson so far.

100% agreed with you. Honestly believe Loma-Tank is the best fight to make below 175, possibly, the best that can be made in any division. We might well be surprised at just how massive an event it would be as well
