It is what it is. Loma lost to Lopez, Lopez lost to Kambosos, Kambosos lost to Haney.

Not sure what to expect if Haney ever fights tank or Loma.
Questions about Haney is punching power, ability to take punches, and ability to adapt.

His height/reach and defensive skills along with his jab make him a huge problem for anybody at 135. I think he outboxes everybody and whoever beats him will have to sell out to chest his chin/body.

Lopez would be a significant favorite in a rematch for a reason.
Kambosos beat Lopez much worse than Haney beat him. The face of teo was f.ucking destroyed.

I agree. I think he would have battered him after the first few rounds of figuring him out. Haney is a great boxer but he has no killer instinct and he hugs too damn much for my liking

Styles make fights but Lopez fought terribly from a strategy standpoint against Kambosos and Kambosos seized the opportunity.

When Lopez did decide to box more and jab he was getting the better of Kambosos. The problem is that it looks as though he gassed himself out throwing so many unnecessary loaded up shots early on.

It was a combination of Lopez fighting really bad and Kambosos taking advantage of it and fighting really good.

That fight had the look afterwards that Lopez could have done a lot better similar to how Lomachenko looked in the Lopez fight where you get the impression that he could have fought a lot better.

Triangle theories don’t work in boxing sure.

But watching Kambosos’s fights before Teo and last night, I think Teo beats him at least 4 out 5 times.

Good for George for having the fight of his life vs Teo when he needed it most but I think Teo didn’t take him seriously or fight a smart fight. George jumped on him early and Teo’s Dad was clearly incompetent in the corner that night.

At the same time I think Loma’s Dad was giving him bad advice when he fought Teo, telling him to be too cautious. Credit to Teo for having discipline that night though (which he lacked vs Kambosos).

              This right there.

Funny, the same people that give Kambosos very little credit wor a clean win over Teo, give Salido, haney and teo a huge credit for beating Loma in very close fights.

Kambosos had his Baldomir 15 seconds of fame. I hope I never have to hear of him again.

I can answer this one, check it out. So if one knows boxing, peeps have to remember that it takes time for the body to adjust to moving up to a new weight class.

So simply put, Loma's body wasn't ready for 135 when he fought Teo hence the loss.

In Teo's case, he just severely underestimated Kambo, Teo didn't take the fight seriously (drinking, partying, slamming hoes/cheats on wife), he thought Kambo was another run of the mill EuroBum and lost a close fight. (I personally had Teo winning that fight but wasn't mad at the decision for the Kambo feel good story).

He was the better man, the rest are excuses from Loma's fanbase (like a man of 170 cm. had it hard to have decent weight for his size instead of being underweight). We also don't apply the triangle theory in boxing (or any kind of fighting).
