Who gives a **** about 3 lbs? Marquez knew he was the smaller guy all along. Catchweights are ruining boxing anyway. Floyd will beat Marquez's ass at ANY weight all day long and twice on Sundays.

Im not saying that didnt happen...but how do you know that was the scenario?

I think he might have been trying to make the weight, but hit a wall, and decided to stop trying

He picks a small opponent and blows off making the weight, now he's getting worried that pee pee boy might rock him so he pulls this, I won't be surprised if he does come in tomorrow weighing 155. Mayweather is making a joke of himself.

              I don't. it's speculation.

I used to think that Floyd could still fight at 140 but I guess I was wrong. He really has added some serious muscle in the past few years, he looked so different at the lower weights than he does now. Shedding muscle, as we well know, isn't a great idea for a fighter. Looking at the pics of the weigh-in, I can't see him shedding anything more unless it's muscle, so I guess that's why he didn't bother.

Still they hit him where it hurts, giving extra money to Marquez when his whole life seems to be about money probably bothered him a bit.

Smartest man in boxing strikes again. No title on the line and just a couple of hundred thousand Gs penalty. Smart move. He not only cherrypicked JMM, he's also taking away any advantages that JMM might have. Smartest mofo in boxing.

I just read he gave away 600000 bucks because of the weigh in problem.

thats a fair amount of cash. I dont think he was planning it all along.

I actually think its good news for Marquez...Floyd hasnt really been on top of things lately, has he? plus he might be a little weight drained, who knows?
