    Can Cordina beat Rakhimov?

Hearn said they paid a step aside fee for this fight tonight so the IBF mandatory is due. Who do you have winning?

Tough one to call tbh. We might not have seen the best of Cordina yet, I think he’s finally injury free and fully committed. I was impressed tonight but Rakhimov is a good fighter, he’ll put pressure on you as long as it lasts and he can crack a bit too.

I'd be rooting for Cordina is all I know.

Yes, but it will be tough. Rakhimov stopped Fuzile (on smelling salts) and went to the wire with JoJo Diaz. Long southpaw that can hit and box a bit, very tough fight. Means Zelfa can make one defense of his European title. An old head like Frenois would make sense, maybe Wardy can come back and be ready to go for that, winner of that gets Cordina if he can beat Rakhimov.

          Bump!

Still happy for Cordina. I always kept an eye on him because he looked like he had good pedigree. Dude showed out yesterday and I hope he can win this one as well.

Thanks for that - I wasn’t understanding why Ogawa wasn’t fighting Rakhimov.
