I think he's lucky he landed that, Ogawa was looking very confident.

"A punch from the gods" as they say. However, he also stopped Hernandez in the first round with a blistering right hand too. Ogawa has a decent chin, but the right hand was too perfect not to hurt him. It's possible that Ogawa wasn't yet warmed up and had no chance of recovering.Last edited by kiaba360; 06-06-2022, 07:07 AM.Comment

Not really.
Cordina is good though. He was always touted as a real talent from a very young age in the amateurs.
His pro career has been stop and start until now though, hand injuries and inactivity which is why he had some lacklustre performances or just cruised and is also why he’s had only 15 fights.
his hand injuries seem to be behind him now and he’s able to throw hard shots, scoring some impressive knockouts, so there’s no way anyone including Stevenson can get caught by him too flush. He’s a smart boxer too, just not on Stevenson’s level.
But ultimately I think Stevenson is an elite level talent and Cordina is probably a solid world level. At this point, I’d give Cordina a good shot at beating anyone at 130 except Shakur.
Still, it would be an undisputed fight so let’s see it.
