And Haney couldn’t even drop a guy who had 4 losses, all by KO’s, and had been dropped 15 times.

It’s really not a coincidence that Gamboa’s decision loss to Haney, is sandwiched between two stoppages to Cruz and Tank.

Gamboa has ALWAYS been prone to getting dropped. Always. Even at his best. As a prospect, in his prime, and past prime. The KD or KO was always there for Gamboa opponents. It’s just that at one point he was good enough to beat them to it.

Haney caught a past prime Gamboa and couldn’t hurt him at all. In fact I think Haney’s lack of power is so unfair, that he can be allowed to use plaster in his gloves and that might JUST put him on an EVEN playing field with his opponents in terms of power.
