Canelo. Tito became less impressive as he moved up. I think Alvarez would’ve been just too big and strong for Trinidad at those weights.

Unless Canelo can knock Trinidad out in the first 6 rounds Trinidad gives him hell and probably wins, especially at 154. Tito actually seemed better at 154 than 147 for his short stint there, but he didn't seem to be as effective at 160.

I want to say canelo but I also havent watched trinidad in a long time. I do remember he had a decent right hand that the announcers usually only talked about his left hook but he had power in the right. had a good jab. but i dont have a good feel for him. Right now I think his repertoire is simple enough for canelo to predict and counter but feel like I might be underrating tito since its been a while.

True though at 160+ he never really did chit. they hyped his win over joppy to the moon, joppy isnt really any better than some of the random bums that GGG knocks out on a random saturday night.

I thought Trinidad did best at 154 where I thought he was a complete beast but he moved looking for more lucrative matches and challenges at 160. The fighters that beat Trinidad had legs for the angles with boxing ability. Don't know if Canelo with his moderate movement and getting less active as a fight goes could over come the pressure and accuracy.

Interesting because Canelo does have good defensive countering abilities.

Trinidad at 154 and maybe 160. He was very effective vs "slick boxers" and he had 1 punch ko power. I think his pressure and accuracy would be too much.

I'd favor Tito at 154 and Canelo anything above that. That's not to say Saul couldn't win at 154.
