Gilberto Ramirez named official challenger in new WBA rankings.

Does this mean Bivol will be mandated to fight Zurdo next?

I hope he fights Ramirez next but Hearn may try to get Bivol over to the UK for the Buatsi fight.

The only way I see Bivol-Ramirez happening next is if the WBA enforce it. Does OC mean mandatory? Can’t say I’m too familiar with how the WBA circus works.

Official challenger. Good. They should order it.

I agree. I am tired of all these British no hopers getting shots. This is not a shot at them or Brtitain. This is a shot at Hearn and Warren. Buatsi and Yarde should fight each other in a big money match over there and then maybe they would earn their ranking. Let Bivol fight Ramirez. The winner of Beterbiev and Smith fight that winner while Bivol rematches Canelo then unify.

I actually like Buatsi but he needs a few more fights first.

Yeah he could be good but if he would take care of Yarde and maybe a fight with a guy like Ryder then he would eaern a big shot. I know Ryder is at 168 but he would move up for big money. The 175 lb division need stobe unified and fight Canelo first.

Didn't Buatsi's trainer come out and say that he isn't ready for Bivol or Beterbiev?

Bivol vs Zurdo totally makes sense.

No, I don't think that means Ramirez is going to be called as the mandatory in the next 90 days or so. Bivol will not need to fight Ramirez for at the least the end of the year.

I can't wait for Bivol to shut Ramirez up.
