Wood is very open about not doing so well against southpaws. But he didn't know if Conlan was going to be in that stance when they fought as he's a switch hitter. But when he got caught with the big left hand, he just didn't read it properly. It isn't the power of the shot (Even though Conlan was sitting on his shots in this fight and hitting harder than he has before) it's the angle. Had he taken an orthodox shot with the same power, he reads in better and takes it.
Leo isn't a southpaw. Wood doesn't have any of those problems presented to him. In fact, Leo is more like Can but just with a better jab and a little bit better with the left hook. And we saw how easily Wood dealt with that style. Even the uppercut Wood likes to use is perfect for this fight.
Don't worry though as it's not happening. Haymon will make sure it doesn't. The split doesn't make sense to Wood. The only way it does is if Eddie could promise to pay the rest some other way without it being on the books and takes the pathetic amount Haymon would be willing to offer. Get the title by fighting on PBC and set up a bigger fight at home with Warrington. But i see this as the least likely situation arising.
No one with a bad chin takes those kind of shots he did after the first round without going down. It's as i say, the southpaw position. Even great chins can get wobbled and dropped by them. Go and look at the James Toney fight with Reggie Johnson. Toney would take the punch if it were delivered in an orthodox stance.
My prediction in the fight should it happen would be Wood by late stoppage. Leo only wins a couple of rounds. After the jab keeps Leo from fully opening up, the uppercut puts him in his box and keeps him contained. With the rounds slipping, Leo would need to pick it up in the later rounds. In doing so, he gives Wood more opportunities with being more open and gets dropped and stopped.

Wood got knocked down by Conlan, he didn't get knocked out.

Oh so now it's he's very open to not doing well against southpaws? You always start off with a built in excuse Conlan is a switch hitter anyways so nice try. Wood looks good against domestic euro bums like Conlan and feather fisted Chinese like Can but Leo can definitely crack that papier mache chin especially if Conlan was able to and he literally hadn't even hurt anyone worth mentioning before that. This is the same Leo Santa Cruz who took out Kiko Martinez in 5, the same Kiko Martinez who plastered the British hypejob Kid Galahad to the floor.

He was asleep it's there to be seen he got up and beat the count but he was asleep his head bounced clean off the canvas and he was stiff. Credit to Wood I like him as a fighter and he showed a lot of heart (something not common with the British) and that was definitely a candidate for fight of the year but doesn't change the fact he's rocking some grade a papier mache in that chin and it's only a matter of time before he gets chinned again. If you get knocked out by a puncher it's expected nobody literally nobody was expecting Conlan to be able to hurt him like that.

The Brits are at the top for heart. It's your Mexicans and Americans who are not. These two nations quit more than any other nation. They duck more than any other nation. And they look to fight vulnerable fighters across the board like no other nation. Facts overcome your extreme delusions. That's the difference here. I can support everything with facts and evidence. You're even too frightened to back up everything you say. It's not even a fight, it's just words. But still, the Mexican/American b1tch urges are too strong in you. That's the absolute truth.
You could see how much harder Conlan was punching in the fight compared to other times. They'd trained to sit on his punches. It was actually his best performance in all, even though he lost.
How is it my "Excuse" when Wood is on screen in the behind the scenes footage talking about it?
I pointed out that Conlan was a switch hitter you idiot. However, Conlan was mostly in the southpaw stance. He's usually in the orthodox stance most of the time.
Warrington and Russell Jr took a shot Kiko out. I guess they're punchers too? Haha.
You're so dumb it's actually amazing.Comment

Wood was asleep even though he got in in 2 seconds? Haha. Must have been a short sleep. Is that why your brain is addled? Because you only give your brain 2 seconds of recharge a night? But care to show me the part where this happened? Go on the highlights on YT and tell me what the time is where this supposedly happened? If you want asleep, look at Leo against Davis. Leo was out cold. If he fights Wood, it will happen again. But at the moment, he and Hayon are looking to run away from the fight as per usual. Leo wanats to fight one of his bums instead.

Brits are top for heart haha Kell Brook, Audley Harrison, Dillian Whyte, Daniel DuBois, Danny Williams all quitters. Hell even Ricky Hatton took a knee against Senchenko and Amir Khan quit against Crawford so you can say otherwise but it's there to be seen. Frank Bruno was a bum too always flopping around the ring for show and Naseem Hamed didn't quit in a fight but he quit at boxing after Barrera made him his step-child just like I've done to you. What did Billy Joe Saunders do against Canelo? Didn't he talk previously about DuBois. Checkmate.
Once again excuses Wood also stated he didn't even remember the punch landing because he was concussed so I wouldn't take anything he said too seriously.
You said that Wood had problems with leftys not switch hitters be more specific but that's his problem he knew Conlan switched his stance he should've been prepared like I said built in excuse anytime something doesn't go in little Sydneys favor. Haha "He didn't know if he was going to be in that stance" Well he's a ****ing switch hitter idiot why would he think otherwise all he had to do was watch some footage with Bum Davison. Do you even read what you write?
Warrington headbutt the **** out of Kiko and didn't even get a warning Leo fought clean and dominated him clear difference there's footage go check. Damn though if Kiko is shot wtf does that say about Bum Galahad lmao. Checkmate
Sincerely,

Haha it's there to be seen even the announcers acknowledged it and Wood said he didn't even remember going down straight concussion talk it's funny how you never admit anything you are a straight ***** it's there to be seen like I said. Leo went asleep against Davis but at least he lasted longer than Liam Walsh and won some rounds lmao Leo started at 118 lbs don't forget that. That's cool though at least you are living vicariously through Gervonta Davis because there are no British power punchers like that anyways Gervonta is American don't forget that either.

Show me where Wood was asleep on the video? How hard is that? You made the claim. Show me what you're seeing for your delusion to kick in?
Wood said he couldn't remember the knock down? Do you think it was because he'd just been through a gruelling war and was emotional? You div.
If Conlan mostly fights out of the orthodox position and rarely out of southpaw, which stance would you prepare for more?
Where did Audley Harrison quit? Where did Danny Williams quit?
Getting stopped by a body shot is quitting? So that's most of Mexico then? Haha. You do know how to set yourself up.
Why have you brought Liam Walsh into it? Walsh is a nobody. Leo is world class. But he was cold. How many times do you see those kind of KO's?
There are no British punchers? Yeah, the likes of AJ, Callum Smith, Dubois, Okolie don't exist. Thanks for clearing that up. Haha.
I live through Davis by pointing out that Leo was cold and not Wood like you claimed as he was up in 2 seconds? What??? The topic is Wood and Cruz here. You're bringing in Liam f3cking Walsh out of leftfield and mentioning Mexican AND American fighters. The level of dumb both countries affords you is something that can not be erased. Sorry, but it can't. I mean, you're not even embarrassed with any of this freak show. It's normal to you. What does that say about you?Last edited by Sid-Knee; 06-15-2022, 05:26 PM.Comment

If Conlan did this or that or this or that just shut up with your excuses dude you prepare for both styles that's what Bum Davison is supposed to be there for but we all saw how well he worked out with Josh Taylor in his last robbery.
Where was Callum Smith's power against Canelo? He can go ahead and knock out Dominican amateurs but when he steps to Mexican fighters he gets his arm busted up and shells up for 12 rounds typical British style. Haha AJ's power was very evident against the likes of Andy Ruiz, Joseph Parker, Carlos Takam, Kubrat Pulev and Oleksandr Usyk that's for sure. Dubois power against who? What happened when he fought Slow Joyce he quit in case you forgot. Lmao Okolie knocking out some Polish dude who was past it really makes him powerful can't believe you would even list him that's pitiful who else besides Glowacki has he even fought for you to call him a puncher hahahahaha.

More like Wood was asleep for 2 seconds before pulling himself off the canvas on shakey legs which were crossed by the way lmao. It's on DAZN go find the video yourself you inbred. Oh so now Wood couldn't remember the knockdown because he was emotionally distressed he must take after your pansy ass. There are interviews he clearly stated he didn't even remember getting punched at the moment not after the fact so just shut your ***** ass up again please.

Wood could only talk about what happened in the ring AFTER the fight had finished. So if it's after a war like that, of course it accumulates. Haha. Wood couldn't remember specific parts of any of the fight.
Callum's power wasn't there as usual because he only had 3 weeks to prepare in a pandemic environment and had very little time to bring his weight down with such a huge frame. All this was planned by canelo to sabotage him like he factually does with nearly everyone else because he's a fraud and a coward. He basically got his rehydration clause he likes to use to weaken opponents just by giving hardly any time to prepare so it was all done in a short space of time. It clearly would have taken a lot out of Callum. When Canelo didn't use his usual sabotage of an opponent, he was dominated with ease. All this is fact. All this is backed up with the mass of evidence. But i'm waiting for you to just back yourself up once in all this time. Just once. But it is beyond you.
Now either run away, or give me your deflections and strawman arguments. Give me your insanity that has nothing to do with the subject at hand. Just be you and prove your insanity like you do. But make no bones, i'm the one forcing your back against the wall. And it kills you. We both know that.
See you soon.Comment

Show me what time on the Wood/Conlan fight which made you think "He's asleep"? What did you see? You made the claim. But you're doing everything you can to deflect and waste time writing nothing. Not once have you ever justified any one of your comments. You just come up with mad shlt and delude yourself that it's rational what you're saying.

HAHAHAH another excuse wow Callum only 3 weeks wah wah wah wah wah little Sydney and you call me deluded? You are the epitome of a inbred loser who lives in his mothers guest bedroom. DAZN has the highlights go watch them for both the Wood fight where he was asleep momentarily and the Callum Smith fight where a 140 lber broke his arm and had him looking like garbage from round 1-12. Once again living vicariously through Bivol because he did something no British has been able to do before and beat Canelo, you heard that right not a single Brit has been able to beat Canelo not even close he usually breaks them whether it's arms or orbital bones lmao.
I know DAZN have the fight footage. I'm asking you to show me WHAT YOU SAW for you to make those claims. He was up in 2 seconds, but apparently, he was out cold. Give me the time on the clock?
Deflect all you want. You're the one who has to keep wasting time on this. Which means, i own you in every way. I'm forcing you into this. You're dancing to my tune. Dancing to yours would be horrendous anyway. The health of your mind sees to it that we don't want to dance to whatever is going on in your head. Not even you want to.Comment
