Comments Thread For: Haney: Best Will Fight the Best in Lightweight Division Because I Will Call The Shots

Devin Haney expects to be the reason why the top lightweight champions and contenders will have to face each other in the near future. The WBC titleholder and Las Vegas denizen will challenge WBA, WBO, and IBF champion George Kambosos on June 4 at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, Kambosos' homeland.

If Haney obliterates George the way Brook beat Khan, there won't be a rematch, because there'll be no demand for it.

But I think it'll be a competitive fight, and if Kambosos wins a few rounds, he has a chance with the judges in his home country. I'm picking Haney, but not sure about 'em judges.

All the belts are coming home baby! Devin Haney adds to the list of current American undisputed champions. By end of the year TBC whoops Errol Spence jr. and first time in history we get three undisputed champions from the U.S.A, Kings of their division, AT THA SAME DAMN TIME! ( Future ).

If Haney wins, he and Davis should clash to determine the best at Lightweight and then Garcia will need to be a first defense.

It will come down to if Kombosos demands a rematch since it is in the contract. He may be discouraged from a rematch if it ends bad for him via KO loss early.

Haney is boring as f.uck and he hardly throws anything.

Kambosos will be the aggressor. Wide UD for him.

Huggies is unable to knock an infant from a high chair but we’re thinking the possibility of a KO?

If he wins there will be a drought at 135, he certainly won't be giving title shots to the best and most deserving. These corrupt sanctioning bodies will make B rate fighters and no-hopers his mandatory. I do think he will want Ryan Garcia first, because Garcia sucks and brings a lot of casuals and social media presence. It will be a race to the bottom to see who can take his "0" first, because Ryan is ripe for the plucking.
