He was a major player once though, wasn't he? Even created (helped create?) Boxing after dark.

He was on the scene, but he never was big time as far as I can remember. There were more outfits back then, more competitive. Gary Shaw, Rock Newman, Lou Duva, Top Rank, Don King, etc.

No idea about Boxing After Dark. There were a ton of shows back then. Before FNF it was Thurday Night Fights, Tuesday Night Fights on USA, a few more I can't remember. Like the Skipper Kelp and Scotty Olson days.
