I'm noticing A LOT of people are picking Marquez

I've seen this before. How many people picked Gatti, Baldomir, Oscar, and Hatton to beat Floyd? Not only to win, but to knock him out! The answer is A LOT. As the fight draws nearer, more and more people are picking Marquez, one look at the topics on the first page will show this. There's even a JMM vs. Cotto thread!

What I want to say is that if and when JMM loses, I want all those who are picking him to give Floyd credit. It won't happen, but maybe SOME of you are decent enough to give the man his props after he defeats ANOTHER guy you think he will lose to.

Many of those who are saying JMM will win now were saying that he had no chance a few weeks ago. What made you change your mind? Is this solely based on your hate for Floyd and wanting to see him lose? If that's the case (and I bet my left nut that it is), you are extremely ****** boxing "fans" What kind of way to analize is that?

People want JMM to win. It's just the right thing to do in this fight.

But it's one thing to root for him, and another one to realistically think he will win. You can say "I WANT Marquez to win", but everyone is saying "Marquez WILL win", then when Floyd wins they discredit him as usual

i noticed that too....my cousin in detroit even told me ppl up there are picking marquez.

funny thing is, no one will bet on it. even at 4-1, or w/e the odds are...go figure.

Well if people don't think Marquez has a chance at winning then they're plain ******... Marquez has a good chance at winning IMO

AS a fan i can see obviously he is at a disadvantage but knowing marquez it just nbrings the best outta him. To say mrquez can't win is just plain ******. He has a better chance than all those names he fought before him . Marquez knows how to prepare well for a fight.

The closer it gets to fight night, the more wild predictions you see. I always say that you should stick with whoever you think will win instinctively, as soon as the fight is announced. Sometimes the over-analysis can really just be you trying to justify why your guy could or should win.
