Guess Loma giving p4p at the time Rigo, who made the challenge, his 1st loss, and giving Walters, who brutally ko’d Darchinian and Donaire, his 1st loss means nothing. Davis didn’t want anything to do with the boxing skills of Grj - who repeatedly called him out. Dont recall Loma getting “alot of praise” for beating Pedraza. Bottom line - Floyd still wont let Davis anywhere near Loma, Haney, or Lopez…cant risk that 0.

if that was the only name on loma's resume he would have a sh-it resume. tank fought pedraza 5 and a half years ago. do the math. hes feasting on bums and conning people out of their money while cosplaying as a "top boxer" also to go deeper pedraza was sh-it at 130 and recently got a gift over edner cherry. thats why tank fought him. he was top 5 when loma fought him, not when tank fought him.

If the criticism is true, it t is probably better attributable to his promoter and handlers than to Tank himself. This, in turn, results from the current fixation on being undefeated. Davis will fight anyone put in front of him and can probably beat anyone in and around his weight division. He is skilled, exciting, and punches with great power. He should be allowed to fight the best possible opposition. Rolly falls way short of that level.
he fought pedraza 5 and a half years ago and hasnt fought anyone that good since. not that pedraza is that good as he always loses when he steps up and even should have lost to edner cherry before the tank fight. the "classic hes not allowed to fight good fighters because of his promoter" is rubbish.

I don’t know if Gervonta has much say in who he fights. I am giving him the benefit of doubt. Let’s see if he ditches His promoter and ups his level of opposition. If he wants legacy , he will have to fight the top dogs.

Walters was truly overrated. Had a draw prior to fighting Loma and hadn't fought in close to a year. Loma is skillful but let's not make it seem like he beat world class fighters. None of the guys he beat are Hall of Famers

Walters is the ONLY one to ko Donaire, who will be a hall of famer. The fight with Loma was close to 50/50. Giving Rigo, who will also be a hall of famer and was top 3 p4p at the time, his 1st loss was also win over a “world class fighter”. That he made both of them quit on their stools speaks volumes.
