Can you choose your exact seats on ticketmaster?

I hate ticketmaster enough but one thing I can't figure out is if you're able to choose your exact seats. You can do this on livenation and other ticketing sites but I can't figure out if ticketmaster allows it.

no, you cannot choose your exact seats on ticketmaster.

even if you go to the actual arena (i.e. mgm, msg) to buy your tickets from the window, you still won't be able to choose your exact seats because they use the ticketmaster system to select the "best seat" option.

from my experience, i can only choose my seats when attending a baseball event, not boxing.
