It says it here in the article:

"Pacquiao's Nov. 14 fight against welterweight champion Miguel Cotto is already sold out, promoter Bob Arum noted this week, with nearly $9 million in tickets sold."

How is that tangential when it is a quote from the article?

So, I ask again, is that a true statement...or not?

What undermines your credibility is that you post an Arum quote which you know (or SHOULD know) to be untrue.

The LA Times did what is called "attribution". That is responsible journalism. Your post was an advocacy post intended to support an erroneous assertion.

I can find a quote from a newspaper with someone saying aliens exist. Does that make it credible?

              No offense intended.

He doesn't have any credibility. he is one of the biggest pacquiao nuthugger on this site who will go to any limits to make pacquiao look good and other fighters look bad.

Cotto vs Pac is going to be a packed house. The tickets sold faster in 2 days than JMM vs Floyd sold in more than a month without them even going full throttle with promotion as far as TV ads, media outlets, etc. Once Floyd vs Marquez is done with the Cotto vs Pac promotion is going to kick in full gear. Casual fans are asking about this fight a lot more than Floyd and Marquez.

Exactly... There's ticket availble in almost any section you want on Ticketmaster.com as well and dozens of ticket brokers... Arum is so full of **** somtimes and if Cotto/Pacquiao does worse then Mayweather/Marquez he's gonna look like a jackass
