BoxingScene.com has learned that TKO Promotions have signed top lightweight amateur Fidel Maldonado, 18, of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Maldonado finished second in the 2008 U.S. Future Stars National Championship. Maldonado is southpaw with punching power. Maldonado will turn pro in the near future. He is managed by Cameron Dunkin.
