I have seen 2 of Rolly’s fights. He doesn’t fight awkwardly. He just looks like he is ready to throw haymakers through the whole fight. And misses quite a lot of them too. He looked awful vs Mariņez.

Awkward is like Pernell Whitaker, Sergio Mora, Emmanuel Augustus, etc. They clearly are awkward purposefully.

Romero isn’t trying to be awkward. He is trying to fight with a wide stance to sit on his punches so that if a haymaker lands, it will land hard. I boxed that way when I was like 12 sparring for the first time, and Tank is correct, that is something someone does when they are just learning.

Zab Judah used to do that too, he was successful of course, it worked for him in some big fights. But against elites, they catch on to that after a few rounds and then you need to adjust and stop that wide stance bullsh/t. In that stance, your punches soon become very predictable and you’re open to counters and a lowered accuracy.

Romero has like maybe 3-4 rounds before he will need to adjust and think of something better. The first 3-4 rounds, his style will have its best moments and if he doesn’t KO Davis in those rounds, he will be picked apart and stopped in the later rounds.

You are not really the targeted audience. I don't think Gervonta even knows where or what Finland is. I like Finland. I guess they are succeeding on the PPV if it's even an option in Finland. Imagine all those other Euro markets, especially the UK, and around the world.

I'd rather Gervonta fight on ESPN or Fox, without PPV.

Rolly needs to use his judo skills on the dwarf king.

Get inside and maul. Use his strength etc.
