In my opinion, boxing. The cardio needed to go 30-36 minutes up on your feet is insane. Add to the the fact that you’re ONLY getting hit in the body and head. It’s absolutely brutal.

MMA fights gas literally after 1 round. Khabib is the only exception.

It's almost two different type of cardios needed.

A grueling boxing match with no breaks and a grueling grappling match where both are even are both exhausting.

The grappling is more of an overall body and strength fatigue where it might not be as fast paced but it can require you to expend a lot of strength really quick.Whereas a boxing match will be exhausting from both having to stay upright (because of points lost being knocked down) and constantly having to be active in throwing/moving/reacting more similar to the tiredness you get from running sprints.

Interesting. So how do MMA fighters train for cardio? Do they run miles too or is it something different?

            I dunno

            MMA training is nasty

Torn ACLs, labrum tears, dislocated joints are common.

Michael Bisping lost an eye, has had both knees replaced and has metal plates in his back.

            He’s 43

            **** that
