Comments Thread For: Frank Warren 'Looking To Do' Beterbiev-Smith Winner Against Yarde in October in the UK

Warren, the head of the British promotional company, Queensberry, stated in a recent interview that he is confident that he will be able to help stage a significant 175-pound title fight later in October, in which Yarde faces the winner

Can't see that fight coming to the UK unless Warren is prepared to put up a lot of money.

Shutting out undisputed at 175 because of hate for Hearn is ignorance at its finest

It's crazy how hard yarde fell off after a tough fight with Kovalev. You'd think even in losing he'd get some credit or fame

This is the problem with boxing. These promotors would rather have their champions fight lower tier guys like yarde and Ramirez instead of matching them up with the other champions for a unification. Yarde should be facing Ramirez next while bivol should be facing the winner of beterbiev and smith.

I think it may have been that abysmal performance against Lyndon Arthur I'm their first fight that may have caused him to fall off a bit. Granted, he had plenty of reason to be flat in that fight (losing 4 family members to covid) and he avenged it with a stoppage in the rematch.

Damn Promoters suck. So no chance of undisputed I see. No need for Bivol to wait around if no Beterbiev next. Sign for Zurdo and go after Callum next. Sucks but wer should all be used to it by now!

If Bob wants undisputed it'll happen, and Frank will just have to wait. Long year for Yarde, even if he does get that fight in October. Shoulda pocketed the mil. If he believes he's better than Buatsi it's easy money. But he struggled with Arthur, and there's levels. This is Yardes last shot and he knows it.

I think the Beterbiev/Smith winner will want to unify, so it doesn’t matter what the promoters say. The organisations will sign up for it if there is more money involved.
