I was there mate. Adversity seems to bring the best out of Evertonians, great atmosphere. I didn’t get on the pitch though felt like we were celebrating mediocrity tbh, obviously the sense of relief is great but we should have never been in that position in the first place. Our recruitment has been terrible on and off the pitch and it nearly cost us big time. We need a massive overhaul in the summer especially in the boardroom IMO.

Not particularly, can’t fault the man’s passion, he’s definitely invested in the club but I can’t say I rate him too highly as a coach. To put it in perspective, when Allardyce came in we were languishing in 17th and we seen an instant response and we ended up finishing 8th, he was ultimately sacked as well which I thought was a very questionable decision based on results. Lampard got the job at 16th and we finished 16th, I can’t really say thar represents progress or improvement.Comment
