Nah. He has many flaws, but I wouldn’t necessarily call him slow-handed. It’s a perception that I think is based on his bulk, but you’ll see a good case in point vs. Ruiz 1 for AJ’s KD. Surprisingly quick combo, compared to what you’d typically expect from HWs.
Also, while I think AJ’s footwork is not even a patch on anyone half-decent, he’s at least more mobile these days. Looked far lighter on his feet in the last few years, moves round the ring a bit better.
