Lemieux offers what a lot of fight fans -- not all -- are looking for. He's a decent guy with courage and ability who speaks respectfully of his opponents. He's a bit of a throwback in that regard, talking about his opponents as if they are real people, not launching f-bombs everywhere and not trying to be as brash and provocative as possible. I like the guy and wish him well in his future endeavors. Even though Benevidez is likely the next big thing, hats off to Lemieux for going out on his shield and earning a well-deserved salute.

David Benavides is a fighting machine in the ring, and don't let him hurt you because it's curtains for you then.
He just has to be careful in his over eagerness to get the knockout he tends to sacrifice his defense, for offense and he has gotten caught with power punches.
Other than that he's ready for all of the fighters who are in the 168 pound division, I'd even like to see him move up eventually, and fight at the 175 pound Class.

I have never rated lemieux. yes he had power at 160lbs but he was a one trick pony . He was absolutely embarrassed by Billie Joe and that was 5 years ago. He has been on a decline even before that fight so to see him go up in weight and fight Benavidez i knew there was only one winner. Ive not even seen the fight but i don't care how great David fought, he doesn't deserve much credit disposing of Lemieux. He needs to be in a 50/50 match so i can actually see how good he really is

Nobody gave Lemule a chance. There were one or two fishermen angling for a bite, saying Lemule would win by KO. Most predicted 6 rounds. I'm not saying Benny is the best, but I want to see him in with the best. Canelo swerved,. Morrell is chomping at the bit. Make the easiest fight to make. Morrell is a boxing master, right up there with Usyk and Loma.

He was a HUGE -1600 to beat Lemule.

            $1600 won you $100

Especially beating a shot smaller tough guy., he wont fight as wild against Canelo, I was hoping Canelo would look take the fight after the Bivol loss.

He would have to be more calculating against Canelo, but I do believe that he can beat Canelo even more decisively than Bivol did.
Due to his better punching power, faster hands, aggression, and killer instinct once he has his opponent hurt.
