Regarding Andrade vs Benavidez --->

On 5/18/22 Benavidez says he'll fight Andrade if he can't get Plant or Charlo next, que'd here --->

After the fight last night in the ring and post-fight presser, Andrade doesn't get mentioned ---> just Plant, Charlo and maybe Clenny (forget).

This could be because Benavidez facing Andrade was contingent on Andrade fulfilling his last fight with DAZN and both fighters being free agents. Andrade is getting shoulder surgery so he'll be out 3-4 months just on recovery so this fight being next isn't going to happen.

Benavidez debunks any rumor of himself trying to price out, his Dad says he's working with Andrade's father so these are real talks.

Nobody wants to fight Boo Boo Andrade, you know he's a slick fighter. Everybody says he's a terrible fighter ---> he's not terrible fighter. He's a dangerous fighter that's why nobody wants to face him. We're willing to take that challenge.

The smart move for Andrade would be to heal, move to 168, test the waters with a middling opponent, then fight Benavidez. That puts us in Q1 2023 and Benavidez said if he can't get a big fight next, he's going to move up the LHW.
