The reality of his being his last shot at the top level is not at all lost on David Lemieux. It's a tough way to prove his worth, as the former IBF middleweight titlist from Montreal is a heavy underdog in his upcoming crossroads clash with Phoenix's David Benavidez (25-0, 22KOs). Lemieux was a pudgy middleweight. I always thought if he applied himself , he'd make a great super welterweight. Now hes going against a guy who could probably be a solid light heavyweight. So the way I look at is, we got a mismatch here. A solid top ranked super middleweight. Against a faded, " has-been" with a name. No matter what the odds, pick Benevidaz. Easy money.
