Gary Shaw knows Vic is on decline and he wanted to take it for granted... big money I mean... his final cashout with Vic before he retire...

I'd favour Donaire here, but it depends on what mind set he's in.

What is the rematch for? the first fight was not even close, from what i understand, rematch is done only when there is doubt about a decision and the fight was very close. the last fight was dominated by donaire from rd 1 to 5. I hope nonito will not fall to this trap, the handlers of vic knows that their boxer's career is on a downhill. they want to ride on nonito's popularity. Will Shaw will break his word that as long as he is the promoter of vic, nonito wont get a rematch? The fact is, nonito is not the one dying for a rematch, it is vic.

Not always, first match was a good one and had a lot of action. Wouldn't mind seeing int again. Also if it makes financial sense to the boxers with all viable options the fight gets made.

Huh? How could a brutal ko warrant an immediate rematch. Vic wasn't winning that fight and Nonito didn't land a lucky punch. Nonito dominated Vic the whole fight. Nothing was controversial, thus no need for an immediate rematch.

Nonito asked to fight Vic again because he knew that Vic was the cash cow of the division at that time. Not anymore.

Lennox had a rematch against Rahman, having been KTFO. In a way I can understand both sides of the argument here - this wasn't a very close fight and Darch was getting starched, but at the same time rematches have been made after brutal stoppages.

Would I want to see it again? Sure, why not. It was quite exciting last time, so I'm sure the bad blood would resurface again. Good promotion.

Nonito just had a perfect style to fight Vic. Can't really say what's going to happen, but may the best win.

IMO Vic was much better in his fights with Mijares and Arce... He was focused, he seemed like executing the game plan... The reason why he lost to Donaire and Agbeko is that he was acting ****** and went for the KO...s

I think should he fight the smart way, the way he fought Mijares and bla bla bla, he can get his revenge... The only problem i see - is his age... Heavyweights retire at his age, but he continues to fight at top level... He can get older... really fast...
