Hearn doesn’t make any decisions for any fighter he’s sometimes advises but he’s the promoter . Oscar has messed up as a promoter though ,drugs ,alcohol, dressing in woman’s clothes taking pics high on who knows what ,missing media events etc . The same logic should go the majority of posters on here to who are obsessed with him and think he runs A.Js career .

He’s so bitter man. You can guarantee he was jumping round his living room when Bivol got the decision.

Oscar and Canelo were great for each other, shame it’s ended so bitterly but that happens a lot in boxing, especially when big money becomes involved.

Hearn doesn’t pick the opponents for Canelo. It’s Reynoso and Canelo goes with whatever he says because he trusts his judgement more than a sleezeball like Hearn or Oscar. Reynoso has otherwise done a good job at matchmaking in knowing who Canelo would and wouldn’t look good against. He just miscalculated this time based on bivol not looking good his last 2 fights.

I'd pick Davis against anyone at 135 and 140 equally. Everyone included.

Canelo/Bivol was neither necessary nor smart. I agree with Oscar. For what? Canelo is way more skilled than Bivol. He got greedy for nothing. Screw the ****** belts and weight jumping.

Personally, I'd have kept him at 160 max. Reynoso is a POS. His foray to the Euro feast for bogus belts was deplorable. He didn't need to do any of that crap. Many were already sold at 154 before his 155 shenanigans. Hopefully he retires. If not, see if you can make 160.

That's the problem with Oscar, he's a promoter. Pscar would've pushed for that type of fight as a fighter and gets praised for it. I understand the business aspect but we don't want everyone to be Munguia and steered of danger. I think Bivol did a number on him but come on, 90+ percent of people choose Nelo going into it. I'm glad I got to see that fight and Nelo doesn't lose too many points besides @175.
