Freddie Roach says on a public forum, "I know that Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been having a ****sexual affair. It has been going on for 2 years. The children from his fake marriage are not his."
Anyone think there might be a lawsuit?
Zab Judah says on his webcast "Mayweather shot two dudes and disposed of the bodies. It's common knowledge."
Anyone think that this public allegation of illegal activity might just result in a lawsuit?
Floyd Mayweather Snr says on a public forum "I know Manny Pacquiao has been cheating, using steroids. All his victories are false and a cheat."
Public allegation of crime, slander of name and ALL accomplishments. Potential huge loss of earnings.
There's no other response but a slander lawsuit.
Doesn't matter who it is about or who said it (even a ridiculous person). Public announcement about a private or public figure if false is slanderous and therefore liable to lawsuit. The ONLY exception is if you can prove that it is satirical.
If in print it is libelous.
End of story.Comment
