Any specific reasoning? I didn't think he was boring at all.
Why did Americans always say that Lennox Lewis was a boring fighter?

Because in his era he was, duh.
The guy who got slapped around by his world renown trained because he wasn't doing enough and the trainer knew he could do more, in the biggest fight of his career, period, was called boring by contemporary fans?
In the same era as Bowe, Golota, Holy, and Tyson
Gee oh gee, I do wonder, why oh why, was Lennox ever called boring.
Let's be clear here, I praise Lennox in terms of resume. In terms of excitement dude's lesser than most the guys he beat.
Tua, sure, Tua ain't exciting, sure, Lennox Lewis winning means Lennox was more exciting, I believe you
Tyson? Gonna say Lennox was more exciting than Tyson because he beat Tyson are yas? Yeah, I believe you.
Grant, Golota, McCall, Ruddock and Morrison, all known for being methodical and boring
Who else was in that era?
Butterbean was popular, wonder if it was his boxing skills or his excitement that got his fans excited.
I know, I know, Roy Jones Junior, that's a guy Lennox can compare to, in terms of exciting fights.
In all seriousness, may as well ask me why folks liked Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Norton, and Shavers, but not so much Holmes.
Wlad vs Chisora in terms of skill, resume, award, basically every metric not excitement, Wlad wins. Wlad vs Chisora in terms of exciting fighters, Wlad's a ****ing limp noodle.
Lennox Lewis been getting well exaggerated fanbases since he became an old man. He was a boring tit then and listen to the ****er, he is a boring tit now.
Wlad, Larry, and Lennox vs Fury, Ali, and Tyson in terms of excitement? Exactly my point, not every great boxer was fun for casuals to watch. Us being fans means **** all, we are meant to be. We're the weirdos who know what to be excited about.
Why was Lennox? You mean why IS Lennox considered boring in America. Answer is because he's got all the personality of a ham sandwich and puts so much excitement into his fights his own corner slaps him around in frustration.
All this ass kissing y'all doing can kiss my ****in' ass.Comment

That's one boxer I personally never liked from that era. Maybe he's a nice guy, but the combination of his boring personality and that awful accent, never did it for me.

Speaking for myself, that could be the case. I don't consider him a UK fighter, tho, more like African-Jamaican, but he was representing them.Originally posted by Madison boxing;n31423361because hes a UK fighter so they have to try and trash him in some wayComment
