Who would pick GGG to beat Bivol at 175?

    Triangle theories aside..

But...I mean...Canelo clearly had two very controversial fights with GGG..

Let`s say GGG is a 175 fighter now...

Would anybody pick him to beat Bivol at Bivol`s best weight?

      I wouldn't.

      Size difference, reach difference.

GGG isn't going to stalk a fundamentally sound Bivol and batter him. He'll be lucky to break that range and not get worn out like Canelo did.

It could be a good fight if GGG was the one winning the jabbing/range battle.

They both can keep a very high pace so I don't see either guy outworking substantially the other one.

The guys who have had success vs GGG lately have tried to push him back, and I don't think Bivol would come in with that gameplan. He has another path to victory.

To box and move and use his reach advantage to win rounds by outpointing him.

Would have to favor Bivol but honestly it would be interesting because Bivol wouldn't come in with the same gameplan as Derevy/Canelo 2/Murata because to do that gameplan you have to take a lot of shots vs GGG and Bivol wouldn't feel like he needs to do that.

It would be a test of whether boxing and moving can beat GGG even at 40.

For GGG, it would come down to whether he can establish his jab first and honestly I wouldn't put it past him. Only 2 inch shorter reach and I've never seen anyone come close to winning the jabbing battle against him.

        Fantasy fight though surely, sadly.

You can nullify a jabber by bneating him with your jab. GGG would jab ard and have to walk him down. Interesting fight,

hes 40 years old and fights at 160.... GGG has no business fighting dangerous world class fighters at this stage in his career, he should fight canelo once more then retire

GGG wouldn't even pick himself to win.

Prime GGG was in no mode to move around.

ggg is food for bivol, but ggg is too scared to fight tough competition anyway.

The version of GGG that called out Chavez Jr and retired Froch but ducked Ward gets smoked by the Bivol of today and stopped by Beterbiev. GGG was an accumulation puncher. Bivol takes all of his punches just like he did Canelo, just like Fonfona took Chavez Jr's best sht. Maybe we go back in history and find a guy like Hearns with one-punch power.
