A hybrid punch is a mix of hook and uppercut. basically you throw an uppercut with a 45 degree angle from your body. Gearge Foreman threw a lot of these. Also Vitaly in his last fight was using these frequently. The second KD of Williams was from the Hybrid punch.
Hooks are usually thrown with your leading hand, I am an orthodox so I throw left hooks. Also cross is a punch thrown by your other hand(in my case -- right)usually it is a power punch
because all of your bodys power generators (shoulders, legs and lower back) are used by this punch. Perfect example of a cross punch is Tszyu's tight hand.
This is information from a top of my head. Actually it is much easier to show these punches than describe them because a lot of trainers have different defenitions of punches and teach you to throw them differently so go to gym and start boxing instead of asking stoopid questions noob

Actually there are right hooks but they are just a version of a right cross. So you can call them either way. But the whole meaning of a hook is that it is thrown with your leading hand.Comment

My first trainer was russian guy and in soviet amateur boxing there are right hooks and right crosses but american style of boxing does not make much of a distinction between right cross and right hook. So it really up to you how you call them, just throw them right and you will be fine.
