Pac needs str8 punches and uppercuts. Forget hooks, crosses, and overhands. And he's better off targetin Cotto's head in the 1st half of the fight. Gettin in close to bend the body will only get him hurt while cotto's still fresh.

corley was able to hit cotto with counter right hooks. I think pac should be able to do it too, but I agree, pac should really fight from the outside, dart in and out and potshot.

Nope...Cotto will take Manny's shots simply because Manny's isn't going to be overly aggressive on Cotto knowing Cotto's going to be waiting on his move. If it were as simple as Pac just going in and landing a hook and dropping Cotto, there wouldn't be a catchweight at all.

Manny going back against a guy who can cut off the ring like Cotto does is a huge mistake. Cotto doesn't necessarily swing blindly, he's a real patient dude when throwing his shots.

Everyone knows that manny is very quick and hard as hell to hit clean so what else will pacman bring to the fight??? We all know it will be that counter hook with that bomb ass righthand and i mean bomb...that is where the cut is on the left eye if i,m right and that just make for swelling and eye closure simple as that...manny will do damage to cotto face and i was just talking about that righthook let alone that straight fckin lefthand down the middle over and over again... I don,t know if anyone really thought about this but, mannys speed and slickness will be i believe to much for cotto no matter how good he is period...there,s a lot of pac fans and lot of cotto fans and hopefully we don,t have a fast fight in this one, let,s all hope...

Manny won't be dumb enough to fight Cotto going backwards because Cotto's one of the best at cutting off the ring on you and finding the opening. Pacquiao's best shot is to use his speed and circle around Cotto. If he exchanges or lets Cotto control the pace, Pac's in serious trouble.
