More people know about Ramirez than they knew about Bivol before he beat canelo a few weeks ago. 95% of this forum called Bivol a cherry-pick easy fight for canelo (I did not), these guys have long amateur careers they are never easy. The only thing that matters is ramirez is ranked #1 in the WBA.Comment

Bivol is in bigger demand now, obviously. Canelo probably wants another crack, and there's Beterbiev and Ramirez.
Zurdo is quite a big guy and can give him a hard fight. He hasn't fought big names, but to be fair, he is very good, tough as teak, and already 44-0.Comment

Ramirez has done nothing to deserve a title shot - all he’s done is pad his record fighting nobodies and make one poor business decision after another (leaving Top Rank, jumping up to light heavy and leaving good SM fights on the table, wasting a year promoting himself, running to Golden Boy in desperation, etc). All that said, I’d like to see Bivol fight Zurdo, whip him and rid us of the predictable spectacle of him resurfacing twice a year to fight a tomato can and whine afterward about being “avoided.”Comment
