I know haters will come in here and flame, but this isn't me just bull****ting or throwing stuff out there. My girlfriend and my sister both work for Directv (at different locations) and they keep telling me everyday about the amount of people talking about the fight or calling in about ordering the fight. At school, everyday I hear groups of people talking about the fight, and I haven't seen a fight get this much buzz since Oscar vs Floyd. Even when I running around town all this week Ive heard people talk about this fight everywhere Ive went. Don't be surprised when this is the highest selling fight since Oscar vs Floyd.


BTW this is coming from someone who dislikes Floyd. And while I slightly dislike, my sister and my girlfriend can't stand him and are annoyed by it at work. Only mentioning that to let people know I'm not a Floyd nuthugger... but someone just keeping it real.

I work in a Liquor store & I got a different feedback. Very few really are talking about it. I don't see the same Hype as the Pac-DLH & Pac-Hatton. Even some of the diehard PBF fans I know is not really that much interested. They don't think this fight is a Cant-Miss fight.

We always buy the big fights but me and my Cousins agreed not to buy this fight. I just want to hurt Floyd's PPV numbers. My Mexican neighbor who is a JMM fan will not order the fight & just watch from the feed direct From Mexico via Satellite dish.

My Prediction: Only 500k buy.

yeah sky have the advert quite abit on there sports channels. I know a load of my mates arnt going out because there staying in to watch mayweather. And they arent big boixng fans.

Now the economy, before the level of competition. Mayweather Jr. has been the main event for the past 9 years and I think that has something to do with it.

Yeah there is big buzz about it. Kind of strange - one the biggest boxers over here is not from here. But i'm not complaining.

I think its just that their a little bitter that manny-mayweather didn't happen from the jump and/or are just wishing the fight to tank out of hate. Thats the way it seems to me from reading the forums

no offense but i can no longer take anyone on these forums serouisly when they talk about floyd. everybodies knows someone who works somewhere. not saying it wont do well, i personally hope it does, i mean cmon im a fan of BOXING not just fighters, but when people talk about floyd i take it with a grain of salt.

for the record i live in minnesota and the only thing anyone has said here is there lucky the ufc card is crap. a couple of my friends are excited since its in a theater and ive been hyping it up since i saw it announced during hatton pac, but no ones been talkin about here, but that doesnt mean too much since i dont know anyone who is really into boxing here. although i asked jose, a kid in one of my classes, if he was gunna watch it and he didnt even know what i was talking about. guess it was kinda racist to assume just because hes mexican hed be watching it.
