This kid is explosive but it's the 2nd time in a row where he's landing questionable
legal shots against his victims. I'm not saying it's necessary for the 'W' but it is happening.
Overhand right the same punch Tyson fury hurt wilder to knocked him down in the 2nd fight in the 3rd round.

If u duck and leave your head down like Clayton did, as well as blind your own vision with a high guard while u duck, you're a sucker for a short chop on the side of the head or behind the ear.

Definitely a punch behind the head, not the temple. But Clayton also leaned into it, it didn’t look deliberate. Either way, I don’t think he would have lasted long. Ennis has solid fundamentals and will be a champion at 147 once Spence and Crawford either retire or move to 154. Not sure how he does against either of them, he is still untested. Ultimately I want to see Ennis vs Ortiz.

No, Ennis' punch landed in a different spot. I'm not saying Jaron landed an intentional illegal
shot, but if his punches land in more solid areas of the head or face against stiffer comp, then
we may not see the same result from that opponent. Boots is def a dangerous guy and a threat to
anybody and everybody at 147. I'm certain both Bud and Spence are nervous.

Clayton came for a check. He took a dive in my opinion. Dude didn't want to fight and you can tell from the moment the bell rang

Ennis is a special type of fighter, but so is Spence and Crawford. He's not going to walk thru those two guys like he does everyone else, if they ever fight. At this point, unless Boots put himself in a mandatory position, they're not going to fight him. The risk is not worth the reward.

Clear rabbit punch. The trajectory of the punch was downward, not a hook.

the trajectory of the punch was downwards because Clayton was ducking below the waistline and turning away from his opponent. Clayton turned his head too far, that’s why it hit him where it did. Just like when a fighter throws a body shot and the opponent blocks it with his arms and pushes it into his own groin. Not the fighter who threw it intentionally there. Down to the opponents actions. I think the term is defend yourself at all times. Mayweather turned his back on Hatton only Hatton got warned for punching behind the head. Refs aren’t always impartial.
