Yeah man, that's the key. I rewatched the Hatton/May fight last night and it was kind of close the first couple of rds and Hatton is not the biggest body puncher. I say try and break his ribs and throw the occasional uppercut when Money dips low.

If Marquez beats Floyd this Sat. He will be my new favorite fighter along side Cotto and Pac. (Kelly has been too inactive these days).

Not to mention that Hatton doesn't throw combinations remotely as good as JMM. JMM is going to mix a lot of body shots in with his shots to the head.

Marquez will attack Gayfeather and try to break his body and pressure him, but it won't work because Gayfeather is a bigger stronger man. So Marquez will spend all his energy trying to impose his physique on him. Marquez will give away his speed and eventually gass out at the end and maybe get stopped later on.

Neither, they'll take what the other guy gives them.

Where is the option for neither? I don't think I have ever seen Marquez take the concrete role of aggressor, and I don't see it starting now. Same goes for Floyd.

Fight has all the makings of a snooze fest.

This is what I'm worried about. I know JMM has sick skills and they are subtle like the way he feints punches to get the other guy to commit to a block exposing some part of his body. This is the only way I really see JMM hurting Mayweather, by faking a punch and catching Mayweather off guard; it is not too far of a stretch because I think that Mayweather is too fidgety and will commit to blocking any punch with either a glove or a shoulder roll and a lean. Eventually, there has to be an opening.

If JMM gasses though, it will be over quickly

JMM is way, way better than Hatton at boxing and countering, once he gets going it will be close. He just needs to make Mayweather feel uncomfortable then counter when he can but not try to get into a slugfest.
