Houston's Charlo is much more intrigued by the possibility of becoming the first undisputed champion in his division during the four-belt era.

He’s not a “pound for pound” fighter. He knows that so…….

No I just specifically said guys like Fischer, Kim, and , Montero. Can you not read? You trying to make fun of a fighter because they fighting on showtime but if they were fighting on PPV you’d be crying about that too. Showtime is premium cable it’s not like he’s fighting on a dead app that crashes every 10min.

I'm not mad at Jermell, I've seen him do wonderful things. I'm saying, bad nights and close questionables leave room for doubt.

A pretty good point, pound for pound is all opinion.

One person would say Canelo, before his loss to Bivol. Others say Usyk or Crawford or Inoue.

In history, some say Robinson, others say Ali or Henry Armstrong. Some even say Mayweather. Not to forget the four kings.

It's all subjective, but the last few mentioned are unquestionably amongst the all-time greats.

He does have a point. The p4p list has become extraordinarily politicised these days in boxing with actual networks pushing their own versions rather than let’s say The Ring, Boxing Illustrated, KO, etc etc

I agree with you. And you just named 3 sources there, which I'm guessing you must consider most credible. But they'll still vary. And other outlets, networks are gonna pitch in and say their entitled to put in their small change worth also. I'm personally only interested in who is the king of each individual division. Trying to rate a super middleweight against a welter or a light heavy against a bantam and so on, does nothing for me. I think it's meaningless. Charlo is the no 1 in his division and that should be the most important thing. And when he can say he's beat the best the division has to offer, which he can if he beats Castano, then he can move on to the next division or continue to be the best right where he is. Either is fine. He doesn't need to be better than the best of other divisions he'll never fight in. That makes no sense and can't be determined in any case.

This. Exactly. Perhaps folks who push their p4p lists should mention of what criteria they are basing it on
