UFC DOES effect boxing PPV's and boxing PPV's effect UFC PPV's.

Why?

Because alot of people who like combat sports like BOTH. Casual fans of both will probably only get 1 PPV and the ones that choose UFC aren't watching the boxing one and vice-versa. That means that both PPV buys will be lowered.

Naw, the amount of people you describe by that is so small. Either you like boxing more or you like UFC more, its pretty cut and dry. I have never met a person that decides on which PPV to get either boxing or MMA strictly on the card, you either favor one or another. For the small percentage of people you describe, they will choose the comeback of Mayweather which is far more of an interest than Rich Franklin versus a nobody and a card that really has nothing. Please, put your 80,000 points on the line saying that 103 sells more than Mayweather V Marquez.
