IDK, credit to him for getting back on the horse and good luck to him building back, but, even for a young fighter, Josh Kelly has among the lower fight IQs in the sport. He's got some skills and athleticism, but boy does he fight so dumb. He wants to be RJJr or Hamed, but he just doesn't have their attributes.

yeah man exactly this. Lots of posturing lots of posing ergo lots of unnecessary shots landing on his face. When he goes to work he's clearly very dangerous and has very good form indeed. Reminds me of Yarde who seems to have gotten the message judging by his rematch with Arthur lets hope Kelly is the same because he could be such an entertaining draw further down the line.

What a load of hot air.

Haye was 24, extremely young for a CW/HW, and lost because he shot his load early and was gassed out.

Kelly is nearly 30 and and walks into the pocket with his hands at his waist. When he went on the backfoot to try and "box" and showboat, he got hit by every single punch Avanesyan threw. He doesn't have the reflexes/defense/skills to do the things he thinks he can do against opposition that aren't tomato cans.

Saying he lost because of what's happening outside of the ring couldn't be further from the truth, and is the last thing Booth should be telling him.
