I thought about this matchup too, I would love for this fight to be made if Marquez loses.

Its hard to say untill after saturday night. I see Floyd putting a bit of a beat down on JMM and either stopping him late or winning a clear decision. Who knows what effect that will have on him, plus he's not getting any younger - he'll be 37 by the time he fights Hatton or anybody else.

Hatton if his chin is in order is far to much for Marquez at 140 (even this past prime version of the Hitman). Even though his chin has diminished from his prime days, if Pac hasnt completley finished it, I'll take Ricky to stop Marquez late.

I have a feeling this fight might get made. I would've picked JMM by decision before Ricky's loss to Pac. Probably a KO now. Ricky's punch resistance is gone and JMM would plaster his face with combinations.

**** ... accidentaly voted for hatton , i can see marquez getting an 10th round ko/tko , imo his counterpunching would be effective against hatton due to hattons lunging and sometimes wide punches

This shouldn't even be a discussion Marquez by KO within 6. If you're looking for a pay day, the easiest fight to take is Hatton, no matter the location.

Yeah i guess Hatton's punch resistance ain't the same anymore.

He took some brutal right's from Tszyu like nothing but he can't take any punches now a days.

I think the effect of Kostya's right hand stayed with him for the rest of his career lol. Cos after that fight, he was wobbly every time he got caught with flush shots.
