Canelo will not have to "find" Spence and if Spence decided to stay on the outside he is nowhere near as fluid of a mover as Saunders/Plant let alone Bivol (who can combine with his offense).
        Psssttt…see Spence vs Garcia…

Um you do realize that spence has pretty much the exact same reach as bivol right? If spence jumped to 164 and fought canelo immediately, I'd favor him to lose, but if he was able to get a few fights there to get used to the weight, I could definitely see him probably breaking another orbital bone, canelo wanted bivol to stand and trade, and that's excalty what he would get with spence, I don't think people realize spence is draining himself to get to 147, and that's why his punch resistance is leaving, he'd be much stronger at middleweight, and if he's breaking bones at welterweight, he's definitely gonna do damage at 164

Fighters can move up and be succesful but its a case of whether you are brave enough to. But the thought of it is usually worse than it actually is.

Not even going to bother if you can't see the massive difference between the 2 scenarios. Spence going up 17lbs in one jump to face canelo at his ideal,or close to it,weight gets absolutely brutalized man. Spence would have a hell of a time getting past both Charlos,Castano, current GGG let alone Canelo lol. Hell, there's a good chance he doesn't even get past Crawford.

Canelo probably isn't fighting under 168 lbs again. At 168 lbs he might be too big for Spence.

Spence can box but he isn't what we call a pure boxer, he isn't a defensive genius like a Lara is. Not saying Lara is better but just Spence is more offensive and that would be his downfall.

All im trying to say is Canelo right now would be too big and powerful for Spence. Now Spence could fill out I believe they're the close to the same height but that would take some time
