I actually think this type of question is really important in fights like this, especially in fights that go the distance but are even a bit more competitive.
If a guy has a claim to winning 10 rounds (if you give him all the toss ups) then it's usually impossible for the other guy to get a win or a draw in the fight. Unless it was like 10 close rounds or something, which is very rare.
I hate when people call a clear win for the other guy an 'either way' type of fight, just so they can gift it to their guy. If you go 12 rounds and have virtually 0 clear rounds in your favor, odds are you should be a clear loser.
